Pine Scotch essential oil is viewed as an analgesic, antibacterial, antibiotic, antifungal, antiseptic, and as an antiviral. Aroma therapists credit its use for helping arthritis, asthma, bladder infections, bronchitis, catarrh, as a circulatory agent, for colds, convalescence, coughs, cuts, cystitis, as a decongestant and deodorant, and for detoxifying, disinfecting, and acting as a diuretic. It has also been applied to eczema, those with laryngitis, lice, muscular aches, neuralgia, psoriasis, rheumatism, ringworm, scrapes, and sinusitis. It is a very versatility oil whose uses have been well documented. Use as needed. As always consult your medical professional or holistic practitioner before use.

Safety Information:
Although pine oil is considered not to be allergenic and doesn’t seem to have any ill effects, it is recommended, as with all essential oils, that a small amount mixed with carrier oil be applied to a small area of the skin for testing before use.
